Our LA-based startup is a well-funded player in the FinTech sector, focusing on creating seamless digital experiences for mobile banking users, digital payment users, and crypto enthusiasts. We are currently in search of a Remote React Native Engineer to lead a pod of 3-4 mobile developers in the creation of innovative solutions for our platform. With a focus on remote work culture, virtual collaboration, and distributed team dynamics, we offer an environment ripe with growth opportunities.
Position Overview
In this role, you will be expected to use your React Native skills to lead a small team of developers in creating and enhancing mobile applications. This is a full-time remote position, so strong communication skills, experience with remote work tools and practices, and a reliable home office setup are prerequisites for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a pod of 3-4 mobile developers
- Write clean, maintainable code in React Native
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Debug and resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with the product development team
- Participate in code reviews to maintain a high-quality code culture
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in mobile application development
- Proficiency with React Native, GraphQL, Firebase, Swift/SwiftUI, TestFlight, and Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS Mobile Development
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
- Experience with remote work tools and practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Azure Mobile Developer and AWS Mobile Developer
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Experience in the FinTech sector
